Application of wireless temperature measurement products in Suzhou Metro Project

With the promotion and application of substation automation technology , there are more and more unmanned substations. The high-voltage switchgear of the substation adopts a fully sealed structure. During long-term operation, the contacts and busbar connections of the switch will heat up due to aging or excessive contact resistance. Since the temperature of these heating parts cannot be monitored, the operating conditions of the equipment are getting worse and worse, and the probability of equipment accidents such as contact melting and knife switch burning in the high-voltage switchgear has greatly increased . Therefore, it is very necessary to carry out safe temperature monitoring and intelligent control . In this regard, our company’s wireless temperature measurement series products can effectively solve such problems.

1.Overview

The power distribution system is an electric network system composed of various power distribution equipment and facilities that transforms voltage and directly distributes electric energy to end users. As the last link of the power system, the power distribution system is directly facing the end users, and its perfection is directly related to the reliability and quality of power consumption of the majority of users, so it plays an important role in the power system. Therefore, in order to avoid serious accidents such as equipment aging, equipment burnout, power supply interruption, primary equipment fire and explosion due to excessive temperature , long-term temperature monitoring of each electrical contact can effectively avoid serious failures, causing personal injury and economic losses to users . Suzhou Rail Transit Line 7 is expected to start initial operation in December 2024. Its logo color is light purple, with a total length of 49.0 kilometers. It has a total of 38 stations, all of which are underground stations. It uses 6-car B-type trains. The line starts at Chunqiu Road Station in Xiangcheng District, passes through Xiangcheng District, Suzhou Industrial Park, Wuzhong District, runs through Huangdai Core District, Suzhou North  High-speed Railway Station, High-speed Railway New Town, Xiangcheng District Core District, Suzhou Industrial Park Huxi Core District, Wuzhong District Center, Yuexi, Wuzhong Taihu New Town, and ends at Wangshan Road Station in Wuzhong District, running north- south.

Suzhou Rail Transit Line 8 is expected to start initial operation in September 2024. Its logo color is olive green, with a total length of 36.84 kilometers. It has a total of 29 stations, all of which are underground stations. It uses 6-car B-type trains. The line starts from Xijinqiao Station in Suzhou High-tech Zone, passes through Suzhou High-tech Zone, Gusu District, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou Industrial Park, and runs through Fengqiao District in the New District, Jinchang New Town in Gusu District, Yangcheng Lake Development Axis in Xiangcheng District, Kuatang Metro District in the Park, Metro Station in the Park, Central Business District, Jinji Lake East Bank Residential Area,  Scientific Research and Education District, and Nanbu Chefang Residential Area, and ends at Xinping Street Station in Suzhou Industrial Park, with a northwest-southeast direction.

After the completion of Metro Lines 7 and 8, they will be connected with the original Metro to form a “combined loop line” to realize the same-platform transfer, facilitate the travel of residents along the line and relieve the urban traffic pressure, so as to further improve the structure and function of Suzhou Metro network and strengthen the network effect; after completion, it will provide a new growth point for Suzhou’s economic and social development, support the construction of Suzhou’s “one center, two axes and one belt” urban spatial structure and the central urban area’s “one center, two districts and two pieces” “T-shaped” urban spatial structure. In order to ensure the travel safety of Suzhou people and the stable development of social economy, it is very necessary to ensure the normal operation of rail transit through safe temperature monitoring and intelligent control .

2. Product requirements and configuration

This project is aimed at the safety temperature monitoring of high-voltage cabinets such as incoming cabinets , section cabinets , busbar cabinets, and outgoing cabinets installed in the power distribution rooms of Suzhou Metro Line 7 and Line 8 , and requires wireless temperature measurement products. The specific requirements are as follows:

1) Power supply mode: induction power supply ;

2) Temperature measurement range: -50℃~+125℃ ;

3 ) The electrical contact temperature is centrally displayed on site;

4) Temperature measurement at 3 points on the incoming line of the high-voltage cabinet and 6 points on the moving contact of the vacuum circuit breaker ;

5) The service life is not less than 10 years, and the measurement accuracy is ±1℃ ;
